Newsletter Summary (May 2016)

This issue highlights how Thunder in the Holy Land is making a powerful impact on churches and communities. Pastor Mike Martinez of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, shares how Thunder not only deepened Bible study attendance—from 11 to nearly 30 participants—but also inspired young adults to launch campus ministry at LSU and even create innovative outreach like a prayer drive-thru. Attendance doubled in one of his smaller churches, and several new members joined by profession of faith.

The newsletter also announces the upcoming Thunder Tour to Israel in May 2017, where participants can experience biblical sites with spiritual enrichment and daily devotionals. Additionally, QLP is offering a special sale on Thunder Blu-ray sets and flash drives to encourage more believers to share their faith. The issue closes with a devotional reminder from Mark 6:37 that Jesus calls us all to “give them something to eat”—to share what we have and let God multiply it for His kingdom.
