QuestLine Productions began the way many of God’s best ideas do: with an honest question between two people who wanted their lives to matter.

It was 2005. Charles and Karen Byrd were out walking, talking about their future, when Karen turned to Charles and asked, “What would you like to do?” Charles didn’t hesitate. He shared the dream the Lord had laid on His heart: to help people see the truth and beauty of Scripture through video, in a way anyone could understand and share.

That wasn’t just a passing idea. It was the start of something that would reshape their family’s life. Together, they prayed, planned, and stepped out in faith, inviting friends, volunteers, and churches to join them in creating their first video Bible study: In Search of the Truth. It wasn’t easy. There were late nights, tight budgets, and moments of wondering if they’d gone too far out on a limb. But at every turn, they saw God open doors they could never have forced open themselves.

Charles brought his heart as a pastor, teacher, and evangelist- a man who’s never been content to let people stay in the dark about who God is. Karen brought her steady faith, practical insight, and the kind of warm, quiet strength that holds everything together when challenges hit. Together, they built not just a media ministry, but a family around a shared mission: to make disciples of all nations, starting wherever you are, even your own living room.

Today, QuestLine Productions is still about that same calling. It’s not about flashy
production or big personalities. It’s about telling the truth clearly, beautifully, and inviting you to be part of sharing it.

Charles and Karen’s second video Bible study, Thunder in the Holy Land, was filmed on location in the Holy Land and has led to hundreds of baptisms. Now, they’re fundraising for their biggest project yet: I Met God, a global video Bible study series designed to reach every nation with the truth of Scripture in their own language.
